the ballet dancer was painted on Saunders Waterford Not watercolour paper. The skirt was created by washing on the colour and adding cling film to the wet paint. Ehen it is dry the cling film was removed leaving the beautiful markings and tissue like finish. I did this for my granddaughter who loves ballet.

Title or Location: Not taken from a photo but a still life that I created
I belong to a small group of fellow artists that formed during the pandemic to encourage one another while we were unable to take classes. We are still meeting monthly to share our artwork. Each month we have a topic and the month I created this, the topic was ?rain.? I splashed water on my kitchen counter and placed a pair of sunglasses on the water and took it from there!
